IBM i Project Lead

Our client located in Phoenix is in need of an iSeries Project Lead to help grow their IBM i/iSeries team. This position is an FTE role and ideally will be groomed into upper management. You will be able to gain experience leading a team, establishing procedures, and ensuring collaboration between development teams and the business users. If interested in learning more apply below!

Responsibilities
Interaction with users and team to define requirements and oversee changes to existing software.
This candidate should have previous experience in maintaining and developing code in RPG.
Focus on iSeries to support and enhance HR/Payroll/Accounting/Finance functions.
Facilitate communication between the business, users, and development teams.

Requirements
10+ years of experience with IBM AS400/iSeries.
Previous experience leading a dedicated iSeries development team.
Strong communications skills, comfortable collaborating with team and users
Review processes and documentation and improve where needed.
Self-starter, ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
Agile methodologies and software development life cycle
